THE PRADA FOUNDATION
“What is a cultural institution for?”: This is the question that has been underpinning the projects hosted by the Fondazione Prada for over twenty years, in the Milan and Venice venues. The Foundation aims to make culture engaging and attractive by calling different generations to participate in the various activities. Fondazione Prada investigates and exalts the ideas and ways in which humanity has transformed them into specific disciplines: literature, cinema, music, philosophy and above all art. The Prada Collection, which includes works from the 20th and 21st centuries, represents the main learning tool, as well as a breeding ground of ideas and possible perspectives, so far unexplored.
SANDRETTO RE REBAUDENGO FOUNDATION
From 1995 the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rabaudengo supports young Italian and foreign artists. The choice to create the Foundation marks the evolution of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection from a private reality to a public organization. Artist and visitor are at the center of the Foundation’s mission. The Foundation takes sides in support of the new generations of artists, through their promotion, the creation of exhibitions and the production of works. Cultural mediation is the tool through which the Foundation approaches a vast and heterogeneous public, who is involved in educational projects, talks and training events.

MAXXI
The MAXXI National Museum of the 21st Century Arts is the first national institution dedicated to contemporary creativity. The programming of activities – exhibitions, workshops, conferences, laboratories, shows, projections, training projects – reflects the vocation of MAXXI to be not only a place of conservation and exhibition of heritage but also, and above all, a laboratory for experimentation and cultural innovation, study, research and production of aesthetic contents of our time.
