The Art Dream Fund, a fund set up by APENFT to support digital artists, launches its second open call. Participants will have until 31 October to submit their applications and the winner will be discovered on 30 November.
A unique opportunity to receive financial support, legal and marketing advice from NFT experts and see one’s creations permanently uploaded to TRON, a blockchain platform.
The theme of this second edition of the competition is ‘Post-Human Era’, an invitation to reflect on the interaction between life and non-life. One can participate as individual creators or in a group, the use of unconventional media is encouraged.
The jury is composed of authoritative industry experts such as Philip Tinari of UCCA, Jonathan Crockett of Phillips, artist Kenny Schachter, collector Sylvain Levy and art advisor Josh Baer. The selection criteria will range from artistic expression to technical ability to thematic relevance.
14 winners will be awarded a prize pool of more than $100,000 and will be able to build their own studios in The Sandbox – a virtual space within the gamified museum created by TRON and APENFT -, as well as take part in residencies, exhibitions and workshops.
