1) Football star Pele launches a collection of NFTs
Celebrity Pelé, in collaboration with artists Kingsletter and Visual Lab launched her first NFT collection on May 2nd on the Ethernity Chain platform. The sale was a success: Crypto Art works reached $ 750,000! 90% of the proceeds will go to his eponymous foundation, which aims to alleviate poverty and provide access to education.
2)Artist Trevor Andrew is ready to launch NFT
The eccentric Trevor Andrew, aka Gucci Ghost, after conquering Gucci, one of the most famous fashion houses in the world, experimented with different artistic techniques, up to the world of digital art and NFTs. Trevor said he is ready to release Crypto Art works: his next drop is scheduled for June: “I can’t reveal too much yet,” he says, “but just know that this will be the most important Gucci Ghost drop ever”.
3)New York Times sells NFT article for $ 563,000
The New York Times sold Kevin Roose’s “Buy This Column on the Blockchain” article for $ 563,000 in the form of an NFT. The experiment was done to test the Crypto market and the proceeds will be donated to the Neediest Cases Fund, an association that deals with people in need.
