    Pace Gallery creates its own NFT platform

    The Pace Gallery next September will launch its own platform through which it will sell NFT works by its artists.

    The goal, says gallery president Marc Glimcher, is not to compete with existing marketplaces like Nifty Gateway and OpenSea, but to control how gallery art is presented.

    In addition, the platform will monitor the market prices of the artists presented. Coinciding with the launch of the NFT platform this fall, the gallery will also present a series of NFTs by artist Lucas Samaras, drawn from his digital print archive.
